Uncle Kong, also shortened to UK, is a character who exclusively appears in Famitsu's strategy guide for Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, named "Super Donkey Kong 2: Dixie & Diddy Kōryaku Guidebook Kanzenhan". He is a Kong who dons a hat, a red jacket, gray shoes, and a black tie with his initials in red. He also has a mustache similar to that of Bluster Kong. Despite being known as an uncle, it is unknown whose uncle he is.[1] He uses the Kansai dialect when he speaks.[2]

His role in the strategy guide is to give various hints to the player in the form of dialogue. At the end of the guide, he reveals that he is not a member of the Kong Family, and that he is actually a merchant who sells bananas at a stall in Osaka.[2]
