The Monkey Museum is a site where Cranky Kong has taken up residence in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. There are actually several Monkey Museums, with one in each area of Crocodile Isle, excluding the Flying Krock.

Although the Monkey Museum is full of eye candy, the whole point of dropping in is because Cranky Kong will offer advice to Diddy and Dixie Kong, most of which reveals the entrances to Bonus Areas, amongst other treasures. Unlike at Cranky's Cabin in the first Donkey Kong Country, Cranky will offer advice exclusive to the area at each location. Players must also choose which piece of advice they'd like to hear, rather than letting Cranky give tips at random.

One big change is between Cranky's Cabin and the Monkey Museum is that Cranky now charges Banana Coins for each tip. While a few tips are free, most of them will cost between one to three Banana Coins. However, once a tip is paid for, Cranky will repeat it free of charge indefinitely. It should also be noted that in the Game Boy Advance remake, Cranky Kong resides at a place known as Cranky's Hut, where he not only sells information, but runs Expresso Racing as well.
