A Golden Feather.
|Usage||Power up Expresso in the Expresso Racing mini-game.|
|Location||All over Crocodile Isle, one being in each level.|
|Game appearances||Donkey Kong Country 2 (Game Boy Advance)|
Golden Feathers, also known as simply Feathers, are items which only appear in Donkey Kong Country 2's Game Boy Advance remake. A Golden Feather is found in each level, and they are required to power up Expresso for the Expresso Racing mini-game.
Forty Golden Feathers exist in the game, cleverly hidden in each level. Once found, the Kongs must return them to Cranky Kong to power up one of Expresso's stats; Strength, Speed, Flight, and Boost, by one point per feather. Each of these attributes can be upgraded ten times, meaning all must be found to have Expresso at maximum power in the races.
