Swanky's Bonus Bonanza.

Swanky's Bonus Bonanza is a game show hosted by Swanky Kong in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. There is a Swanky's Bonus Bonanza in each area of Crocodile Isle, except for the Flying Krock and the Lost World.

Set in a TV studio, Swanky will let Diddy or Dixie Kong partake in one of three quiz challenges in exchange for Banana Coins. The three quizzes cost either one, two or three coins to play, with the price indicating their difficulty level. For each quiz, Swanky will ask three multiple choice questions about the game. If the Kongs get any questions wrong, the quiz will end, and they will lose, although they're welcome to retry the challenge if they're willing to pay for another go.

If the Kongs answer all three questions correctly, they will be awarded with an Extra Life Balloon, the value of which will correspond to how many Banana Coins the quiz was priced at. Once a quiz is completed, it can never be replayed. Each location of Swanky's Bonus Bonanza has it's own unique set of quizes.

GBA Differences

In the Game Boy Advance remake of the game, Swanky's Bonus Bonanza has undergone some changes. It is now simply known as Bonus Bonanza. When a quiz is chosen, the Kong playing will enter a barrel that will transport them to a stage, where Swanky Kong will ask his questions from atop a podium. Candy Kong is also Swanky's lovely assitant, although she doesn't contribute anything to the game. Also, to answer the questions, the Kong playing must select their answer (either "A", "B", or "C"), by jumping on the corresponding star-shaped button on the floor.
