Template:Quote2 Template:Worldbox Gorilla Glacier (White Mountains in the animated series) is the fourth world in Donkey Kong Country and is a frozen wasteland located on the peak of Donkey Kong Island. In the glacier, there are many ice caves and deep ravines. There is also a treetop village similar to the one found in Vine Valley. It is also the first place the Kongs meet the Animal Friend Squawks. This world notably has no direct counterpart in Donkey Kong Country Returns, although the Cliff uses arranged versions of the music.

Appearances in other media

In the Donkey Kong Country cartoon, the Gorilla Glacier portion of Kongo Bongo Island is referred to as the White Mountains. This area is the home of Eddie the Mean Old Yeti, and is otherwise fairly barren of features.
