As the third level in Donkey Kong Country, Reptile Rumble does not feature any unique obstacles of hazards that distinguish it from any other levels. It does, however, introduce a new addition, tires, which must be used in the level to reach high areas. The level also introduces a commonly found enemy, Slippa. These snake foes can be found throughout most of the level in small pits or in large areas on the main path. Aside from them, there are blue colored Kritters, along with yellow and red Zingers.

Template:Level Reptile Rumble is the third level in the classic Super Nintendo Entertainment System game, Donkey Kong Country. It is also the third area in the Kongo Jungle.

As the third level in Donkey Kong Country, Reptile Rumble does not feature any unique obstacles of hazards that distinguish it from any other levels. It does, however, introduce a new addition, tires, which must be used in the level to reach high areas. The level also introduces a commonly encountered enemy, Slippa. These snake foes can be found throughout most of the level in small pits or in large areas on the main path. Aside from them, there are blue colored Kritters, along with yellow and red Zingers.

Level Layout

From the start of the level, the Kongs must head east and defeat a Slippa. After that, they must find an area with several ledges. Without hitting into any Kritters, they must roll down the ledges and grab the letter K at the end. Once this is done, the Kongs need to defeat more Kritters and bounce off of a tire to reach a high area. There, they must run down more ledges and hop on another tire. It bounces them to the edge of a high ledge, where they must jump on a platform between two Zingers to find the letter O. After that, the Kongs must crawl under a nearby wall and bounce on a tire to land in an area with the Star Barrel.

Halfway through the level, the Kongs must travel down to an area with several tires. Here they must bounce over a Zinger and then to a high ledge. At that point, they should defeat a few Slippas in a shallow pit and sneak under another wall. The Kongs will then end up in a small area, where they must defeat two Kritters and may grab an Animal Token. After that, the Kongs need to crawl under another wall and defeat four Slippas. If they travel a little further, they will find an area with several ledges, each with a tire on it. They must bounce up on the tires, avoiding a few Kritters on the way. Once the Kongs get to an exit sign, they should walk into a small opening to enter the next level.
