This article is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it is being worked on. We hope to have it completed soon.

Template:Level Ropey Rampage is the second level of Donkey Kong Country, located in the Kongo Jungle. The level takes place at night time, during a heavy tropical storm. Kritters will be fought in this level, and Armys and Zingers will make their first appearances. The level involves a lot of climbing and swinging on ropes. As the Kongs reach the end of the level, the storm ends, revealing a sunrise in the background.

In the Game Boy Advance remake, the background is lighter and there is no tropical storm, just heavy rain.

If the player continues east, they will find the first rope of the level, which they will need to jump on, then climb up, and finally jump off and land on a treetop ledge. Continuing east, the player should go over sevral more ropes and ledges, while finding a DK Barrel along the way. Then Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong will come to a large pit, which they will need to swing across, and walk along the treetops. There they will find the letter O.

The player must continue to go on ropes and jump over sevral Kritters until they reach the level's Star Barrel. From there, they will find a TNT Barrel they can hit several Kritters with. Heading east again, the Kongs must jump over an Army-infested pit using ropes. They can also hit these Armys with a TNT Barrel. Then they will find a DK Barrel, but an Army will drop from above, attempting to hit the Kongs. From here the level is fairly straight-forward. There are ledges, Kritters, the letter N, and several Zingers. A tire can be used to jump onto one of the ropes. From there the Kongs will find the exit.
