Candy's Save Point.

Candy's Save Point is a booth in Donkey Kong Country that is run by Candy Kong, where players can save their game.

Candy has one Save Point in each area of Donkey Kong Island, for a total of six altogether. By jumping into Candy's special Star Barrel, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong's progress will be saved.

As players are unable to return to previous worlds without either beating a boss or using Funky Kong's Jumbo Barrel, coming across the next Candy's Save Point may feel as a triumph, especially after conquering several challenging levels consecutively.

A similarly looking Save Point, though unnamed, appeared in the Club Nintendo comic based on the game. It did not serve as an actual point to save, however, instead Diddy and Donkey Kong were provided with Squawks the Parrot.
