Very Gnawty
Template:Character-infobox Very Gnawty is a giant Gnawty and the boss of the Kongo Jungle in the game Donkey Kong Country. Its name is a pun on "very naughty". It is the first boss of the game and appears in the level Very Gnawty's Lair. To defeat Very Gnawty, Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong must Jump on top of it five times, at which point it gasps and collapses onto the ground. The beaver boss attacks by jumping horizontally at the Kongs. After each hit, Very Gnawty becomes progressively faster, and its leaps become longer.
Very Gnawty shares a resemblance with Really Gnawty. However while Very Gnawty has green fur, Really Gnawty has brown fur.
In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country, Very Gnawty is re-colored red and is larger than in the original game. Once attacked, it will jump from one side of the screen to the other before slamming into the ground. In this version of the game, Very Gnawty can also be found inside DK's Tree House after defeating Really Gnawty. When it realizes Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong has entered the tree house, the beaver runs past them and out of the front door. This can be performed only once per file.
Gnawties which are equal in size to Very Gnawty appear in Donkey Kong 64. The only difference between Very Gnawty and these Gnawties is that the large Gnawties of Donkey Kong 64 can be defeated in just one hit, rather than five as in Donkey Kong Country.
