Template:Character-infobox Very Gnawty is a giant Gnawty and the first boss in Donkey Kong Country, fought at the end of Kongo Jungle in Very Gnawty's Lair. His name is a portmanteau of "very naughty" and its species, Gnawty.

Very Gnawty has black-patterned green fur and pink hands, ears and webbed feet. It has three fingers on each hand. Very Gnawty has an orange belly and tail and two buckteeth. In the Game Boy Advance version, Very Gnawty's fur color was changed to red, formerly that of Really Gnawty's, who in turn had its fur color changed to blue. History
Very Gnawty repeatedly hops across the arena. If Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong get hit by Very Gnawty, they get injured. The Kongs can jump on Very Gnawty to attack it. After each hit, Very Gnawty moves around faster. After five hits, Very Gnawty pants and collapses onto the ground in defeat.
