Painguin Tucks use the dead fish they carry as a spear to damage the Kongs. However, they can be defeated by a jump or a roll to their backside. Painguin Tucks can also be stunned by a ground pound if the Kongs are close enough. They will run faster when they see the Kongs.
A harder version of Painguin Tucks called Papa Painguins are encountered later in the game.
