Kopter.

Kopters are small yellow-ish Kremlings (resembling another Kremling, Bazuka) that are encountered in a few of the later levels Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble and Donkey Kong Land 3. Kopters carry helicopter blades in each hand and can attain flight by spinning them rapidly, if either Dixie or Kiddy Kong get to close they could end up be being hit by the blades. Kopters also wear crash helmets meaning jump attacks are useless, but if the Kongs can land directly on the helmet they will bounce thus attaining greater heights. Kopters cannot be beaten in any way and can only be avoided.

Trivia

  • Strangely Kopters wear parachute packs, which are useless considering they never fly too high.
  • It is unknown what kind of Kremling Kopters are, as mentioned above they resemble Bazukas, but unlike Bazukas they don't seem to have a tail.
  • In the upcoming game Donkey Kong Jet, a Kopter-esque character has been confirmed. Albeit looking more Crocodile-like, it shares a similar helmet, body shape and size, and parachute, meaning it could be a relative of Kopter, or simply an updated version of one.
