==Gameplay==
The object is to use a fly swat to swat a given number of [[Fly (Donkey Kong 64)|flies]] inside of a barrel within 60 seconds. Each fly usually buzzes around in a circular pattern. If the player does not swat enough flies within the time limit, they lose at the mini-game, though if they win, the Kong who jumped in the Bonus Barrel wins a [[Golden Banana]].


After the player jumps in the [[Bonus Barrel]], the player will play the minigame to try and win a [[Golden Banana]]. In this minigame, the player will need to to smash the required number of flies in 60 seconds using a flyswatter by pressing {{button|n64|A}}. If the player missed the bug when it was very close, it will giggle and fly faster for few seconds. The fly usually fly in circles, which make it easy to bash the bug, as the player does not need to chase it.
Big Bug Bash! has five different [[Bonus Barrel]] challenges. The required number of flies to swat increases in each challenge. Just like every other mini-game, the Kongs can replay the mini-game at Snide's HQ after they retrieve all forty [[Blueprint]]s. Like the other mini-games, the Kongs do not obtain a Golden Banana if they complete the mini-game. The following locations have their own variations with a given number of flies, and can be played by only the following Kong:

Big Bug Bash!, or Fly Swatter,[1] is a bonus stage in Donkey Kong 64.

Gameplay[edit]

The object is to use a fly swat to swat a given number of flies inside of a barrel within 60 seconds. Each fly usually buzzes around in a circular pattern. If the player does not swat enough flies within the time limit, they lose at the mini-game, though if they win, the Kong who jumped in the Bonus Barrel wins a Golden Banana.
