Tiny Kong being chased by two Mecha-Kritters.

Mecha-Kritters are robotic versions of Kritters encountered in Donkey Kong 64.

Mecha-Kritters appear as semi-common enemies in the area Frantic Factory, which is the only level that features them. Mecha-Kritters attack in a similar manner to normal Kritters, by punching and biting. They can only take out one melon slice at a time, but the reward for defeating a Mecha-Kritter is two melon slices.

Mecha-Kritters are grey in color and have glowing red eyes, they also have yellow wind-up keys in their backs. Mecha-Kritters are extremely durable as most attacks have almost no effect on them, the only way to defeat them is with a Orange Grenade, shockwaves or Chunky Kong's Primate Punch.

Robotic Kritters similar to Mecha-Kritters, called Robo-Kritters also appear in Super Mario Strikers as the Super Team's goalies.
