Klumps are large obese members of the Kremling Krew, they typically are used as ground troops.

Klumps first appear in Donkey Kong Country as semi-common enemies. Due to being so large Klumps cannot be hurt by some attacks (such as Diddy Kong jumping on them). Klumps can only be harmed by either a frontal attack (such as Diddy's cartwheel), Donkey Kong jumping on them or by having a barrel thrown at them.

Klumps also appear in Donkey Kong Country's pseudo-sequel Donkey Kong Land.

In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest an enemy similar to Klumps, called Kannon appears. Kannons, unlike Klumps who dress in army gear (a green helmet and grenade pouches) are dressed like pirates. Kannons also appear in Donkey Kong Land 2.

There seemed to be no equivalent to Klumps in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble and Donkey Kong Land 3. Though an enemy equivalent to Kannon, called Bazuka appears.

Klumps make a reappearance in Donkey Kong 64, here they are much larger and along with attacking the Kongs physically, they also throw unripe green Orange Grenades. In this game Klumps can only be defeated using Orange Grenades. Oddly the Klumps of this game were pink in color.

Appearances in Other Media

In the Donkey Kong animated series a Klump, aptly named Klump is one of King K. Rool's generals. Despite his fearsome appearance Klump was actually a big softy on the inside.
