Kutlass, Skurvy's loyal minion

Kutlass was a shipmate of Kaptain Skurvy and recurring character on the Donkey Kong Country animated series. He was Skurvy's first-mate, and he speaks with a distinctive Italian accent. Kutlass is voiced by John Stocker, the same person who voiced Toad from the Mario cartoons.

General information

Despite Kutlass being Kaptain Skurvy's number one minion, he did not appear as much as his captain on the show. In the episodes Kutlass did appear in, he is making plans to steal the Crystal Coconut with Skurvy and his shipmate Green Kroc.

Kutlass is the one of the two of Skurvy's minions that actually follows the Pirate Handbook and knows it by heart. Though despite his loyalty, he can sometimes get snappy with his Kaptain, but withdraws the remarks quickly after.
