Klampons are enemies in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest that replaced Klaptraps from the first game.  Klampons are relatives of the Klaptraps, and are considered to be the "big brothers" of their predecessors.  In fact, Klampons are almost exactly the same as the Klaptraps. Although they are a bit larger, they share the properties as their predecessors, invulnerable to a frontal attack as well as a attack from behind, but a stomp will take care of them.
Klampons are enemies from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. They appear as blue and red-spotted crocodiles with small bodies, big heads and jaws, and bulging eyes. Sometimes, Klampons appear along with the porcupines Spinies, making it harder to defeat one of these enemies, while trying to avoid their defenses.

Trivia

 • According to the game's credits, Klampons belong to the "Kremling Kuthroats" enemy class.
