The Jungle is a stage in the Subspace Emissary in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It, The Lake, The Cave, and The Swamp include more Super Mario representation than the other stages in the mode. The first playthrough of The Jungle involves two Super Mario characters, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, though they encounter enemies from the Super Mario series rather than their home series. Jyk is the only enemy in The Jungle that is not a Super Mario enemy.

Goombas and Koopa Troopas are shown riding a vehicle, stealing Donkey Kong's banana hoard. Soon, Donkey Kong emerges from the jungle and roars in anger. He and Diddy Kong jump off into the Jungle in pursuit of their stolen hoard. The stage itself consists of many barrels and platforms. Native enemies include Koopas, Hammer Bros. and Bullet Bills. After some time, they encounter Bowser. When he tries to use a Dark Cannon to shoot Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong uses Giant Punch to knock Diddy out of the way, getting shot himself. The jungle area has a door to the portal to fight Tabuu, after it is merged into The Great Maze. Completing the stage unlocks Diddy as a party member.
