Link is the main protagonist of the The Legend of Zelda series. He has made a few cameo appearances in the Donkey Kong video games and alongside DK & Diddy in the Super Smash Bros. titles.

Donkey Kong Country 2

In Donkey Kong Country 2, Link makes a cameo in Cranky's Video Game Heroes standing third place on a podium. There the contestants are ranked based on their quantity of DK Coins. Link managed to gather 19 of them.

Link no longer stands on the podium once Diddy and Dixie gather more than nineteen DK Coins.

In the Game Boy Advance re-release, Link and Yoshi exchange places: Link to second place, now with fifty DK Coins, and Yoshi to third.

Donkey Kong Country 3

In Donkey Kong Country 3, if the Kongs ask Bazaar in his store who owns Kastle KAOS, he says that Link also asked the week beforehand.

Link had an inadequate number of coins to ask about Kastle KAOS; however, Bazaar liked him and accepted 500 rupees from him instead. Link then left, murmuring about Bazaar's misshaped shells.

This dialogue is absent from the Game Boy Advance remake. Instead, Bazaar explains to Dixie and Kiddy about what he saw at the Kastle KAOS grounds personally.

Donkey Konga

One of the tracks in Donkey Konga is the NES The Legend of Zelda theme.
