Link is the protagonist of the The Legend of Zelda series.

• Link is seen in Cranky's Video Game Heroes of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, his default place behind Mario and in front of Yoshi (this is assuming the player did not make the top three at all).
• Link is also briefly mentioned in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!'s Bazaar's General Store, when the player denies wanting to hear about who lives in the castle. Bazaar claims that a fellow named Link had came by asking for directions, and payed a large sum of Rupees for the information since he did not have any coins.
• It's also worth noting some songs from Link's games appear in Donkey Konga.
