Konga Beat is Donkey Kong's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. When using it, Donkey Kong will pull out two Bongos and start playing a cover of the "DK Island Swing" theme song from Donkey Kong Country, releasing shockwaves in time with the beat. The initial shockwaves are weak, but the attack can be made stronger by pressing the buttons in tune with each beat of the song. Donkey Kong is invincible during the move, though he is also unable to move during it.
The bongos Donkey Kong uses in his Final Smash are actually modeled after the actual DK Bongo controllers - a START button and DK logo can be seen in the middle of the two bongos.
Konga Beat is a reference to Donkey Kong's musical attack in Donkey Kong 64 for the Nintendo 64. The bongos play a prominent role in the Donkey Konga games for the Nintendo GameCube, and were used as the controls for Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. In Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Donkey Kong can make similar circular waves when clapping to stun enemies. The name of the move is a reference to Donkey Konga and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.
