Tusked Gale Hawg
A tusked Gale Hawg

Gale Hawgs are pig enemies found in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They are red with darker red engravings on their bodies and commonly appear in front of tunnels or near pits. They attempt to prevent Donkey Kong from progressing to the goal by creating mild gales, as their name implies, or even blow Donkey Kong into another obstacle or enemy. Some Gale Hawgs have tusks, making them difficult to attack head-on as the tusks can damage Donkey Kong if he collides with them. A Gale Hawg can be defeated by using a sound wave, and then repeatedly punching it while it is dazed. Gale Hawg later reappears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a sticker.
