Template:Level Rockface Chase is the twenty-fourth level in Donkey Kong Land III. Located in the north-east of the Great Ape Lakes, these tall cliffs are a necessary gateway to reach the wold where KAOS's factory stands. As one would expect, the Kremling Krew did not leave this strategic point unprotected: Kobbles, Krimps, Krumples, Re-Koils and other Kremling Kreeps can be found throughout the level.

As they clamber up the rockface under a ceaseless rain, Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong will have to find their way through narrow canyons and shafts, taking advantage of the numerous Barrel Cannons and ropes (both horizontal and vertical ones). Arrow-shaped bananas can help them navigate this rocky maze. However, their progress will be hindered by Klasps, Buzzes and Kopters who patrol around the mountain. A good timing is required to dodge the malevolent Kremlings while climbing up ropes.

A couple of Sneeks and a single Knik-Knak are also found in the level.

Trivia

  • Despite the name, this level does not feature any "chase".
  • In Donkey Kong Land III, Kopters can be defeated by jumping onto their head, which was not possible in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble. These enemies are thus less dangerous than they were in the SNES game.
