Bramble (character)

Bramble is a member of the Brothers Bear who appears in the game Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. Bramble dwells in a bungalow located in the Northern Kremisphere overworld, not too far from Cotton-Top Cove.

Bramble is a botanist, and wishes to study rare species of flowers. He also happens to have possession of a Banana Bird, although he has finished studying its abilites, and is willing to part with it. If Dixie or Kiddy Kong present Bramble with a Red Flower, he'll be willing to trade his Banana Bird for it.

If the Kongs visit Bramble prior to completing Mekanos he will ask them to shut off the machines so that the plants in the area can start to grow again. Eventually, by the time the Kongs complete Razor Ridge, the Red Flower that Bramble wants will have grown on a dead-end path near his home, ready for the Kongs to pick.

In the Game Boy Advance remake of the game, Bramble does things differently. The Red Flower that he desires is in possession of Bachelor, who will give it to the Kongs for free near the start of the game. By presenting the Red Flower to Bramble, he will give the Kongs a Purple Flower, which Bachelor needs for his date. While Bramble does have a Banana Bird in this version, he will give it to the Kongs anytime they visit him after they complete Mekanos.
