Fluff-Puff Peaks Palace is a course in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It is found in Fluff-Puff Peaks and is unlocked after clearing Fluff-Puff Peaks Flying Battleship. It is a palace that has been taken over by Bowser Jr. A Wonder Packun prevents access to the course however, and can only be disposed of if the players have at least fourteen Fluff-Puff Peaks Wonder Seeds. The difficulty is four stars, and one Wonder Seed is housed here. Completion of this course awards the players with a Royal Seed.

Layout[edit]

The players start outside the palace and must enter it. Once inside, Bone Piranha Plants emerge from a row of pipes on the ceiling. After some progress, two Bone Trottin' Piranha Plants appear on a semisolid platform in the air and walk to the left. There is then a gap of Green Lava that must be jumped over. Three fireballs appear and fall to the solid ground after the gap. There is then an area with two rows of three Marimba Blocks each in the air, where two Hammer Bros appear at. Many pipes are found afterwards, with some of them moving when stood upon. Three ceiling pipes have Bone Piranha Plants, and one pipe on the ground afterwards has a Bone Trottin' Piranha Plant. The first Checkpoint Flag is found not far after.

Past the first Checkpoint Flag aid an area with two ? Blocks where four fireballs appear and fly to the left. There is then a "two-sided staircase" of pipes with several Bone Piranha Plants and a Bone Trottin' Piranha Plant. Two fireballs appear and fall down at the middle of the pipes. There is also a Wow Bud that causes the Wonder Flower to appear below a semisolid platform below after being activated. The Wonder Flower moves left and right, and must be brought up by standing on a nearby pipe, causing another to rise of beneath the Wonder Flower and bring it to the players. After it is obtained, the players, as well as the Bone Piranha Plants and Bone Trottin' Piranha Plants all become elongated and the players are able to stretch and shrink. The stage also becomes silhouetted. The path ahead has many pipes, gaps of lava, Bone Piranha Plants and some None Run Run Packuns, as well as fireballs that appear and fly in different directions. Later in the path there are two more Hammer Bros close to more Marimba Blocks. The Wonder Seed is found afterwards, high in the air above more Marimba Blocks and surrounded by four Bone Piranha Plants. After it is collected, the Wonder Effect ends and everything returns to normal. There is then a long flight of stairs leading to the second Checkpoint Flag, as well as a gate leading to the room where Bowser Jr. is.

At the start of the room there is a Roulette Block that changes between a Super Mushroom and a Bubble Flower. Bowser Jr. is found not long after, where he thinks the players want to play with him, and threatens to use Wonder Power to stop them. At the start of the fight, Bowser Jr. simply spins in his shell and move left and right. The room where he is fought has several platforms that move up and down the entire battle. After Bowser Jr. takes damage, he becomes Wonder Bowser Jr. and causes the platforms to become frozen and slippery. Wonder Bowser Jr. still spins in his shell, but he can also spin on the ice, becoming dizzy afterwards. After taking damage, he changes the platforms to some jello-like substance, slowing down the speed of anyone on it. Wonder Bowser Jr. can also dive into the jello and appear at various places. After taking more damage, he brings back the frozen platforms, but changes back to the jello platforms right after he is done spinning in his shell. He can also summon Goombas in this phase. After taking even more damage, Wonder Bowser Jr. is defeated and returns back to normal. He then jumps off the screen and escapes, and the players can then obtain the Royal Seed and clear the course. In the cutscene afterwards, Prince Florian and some Poplins watch as the palace returns to normal, before they yodel.

10-flower coins[edit]

  • 10-flower coin 1: Found above Marimba Blocks where the first two Hammer Bros are.
  • 10-flower coin 2: Found past the first Checkpoint Flag during the Wonder Effect. Like the first 10-flower coin, this one is also above Marimba Blocks, but is blocked by pipes on both sides and a semisolid platform above it. To reach the coin, the players must stand on the pipe to the right of the coin, causing it to sink and allow access to the coin.
  • 10-flower coin 3: Found not far after the second 10-flower coin, also during the Wonder Effect. The players will need to shrink to fit through a small passage leading to the coin. It looks like the passage is blocked, but the blocks are in the foreground.
