Spinning Kong in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Spinning Kong is one of Donkey Kong's special moves in the Super Smash Bros. series. It is executed by tilting up on the Control Stick or Circle Pad, and pressing the special attack button. As the name suggests, Donkey Kong spins his fists around him, letting him hit opponents and momentarily float.

The move can be used effectively as both a long horizontal recovery move, and an attack, but the move does lack vertical mobility. When used on the ground, the move's first hit, when Donkey Kong pulls back his fist does decent knockback in comparison to the other hits.

In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, the move has two variants:

Chopper Kong gives Donkey Kong better vertical distance, but it has less horizontal mobility, and can't deal any damage. Donkey Kong flies straight up if he uses this move on the ground.

Kong Cyclone enables Donkey Kong to create a tornado around himself, which sucks in any nearby opponents before blowing them away. Opponents caught from below will be sent upwards, and those from above are sent downwards. However, the move only delivers up to two hits, with the first hit being very weak, while the second hit packs more power, and has KO potential. Donkey Kong is given super armor throughout the duration of the spin.
