Donkey Kong uses the Kong Roll to take out some Awks.
The Kongs perform the Kong Roll.

The Kong Roll[1] is a special move that can be performed by Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong in Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. In Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, the Kong Roll can also be executed with Dixie Kong or Cranky Kong, as they enter partnership with DK in this game.

The move can only be executed when Diddy Kong is mounted on Donkey Kong's back. By utilizing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk (or just Wii Remote when using the horizontal control scheme), Donkey Kong begins by performing a roll attack. As he rolls, Diddy runs along on top of Donkey Kong to keep his progress. Like the barrel roll and cartwheel, the move can be used to cross over gaps, eliminate most enemies in the Kongs' path, and increase speed, but unlike those signature moves, the Kong Roll proceeds as long as the player shakes the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk (Wii Remote only for horizontal mode) to move.
