He appears as the boss of the second area of the game, Kremwood Forest, where he is fought in a level called Arich's Ambush. Arich hangs from a thread of web, and to defeat him, Dixie and Kiddy Kong must throw Barrels at his jaw. Trivia
- The Banana Bird Cave in Kremwood Forest is named "Arich's Hoard". This name may either imply that Arich kept a Banana Bird in captivity at King K. Rool's request, or that this cave was used by Arich as a larder until K. Rool commandeered it in order to trap a Banana Bird.
