The Windows version also includes analogue and digital clocks, a calculator with different skins, and a kitchen timer, while the Macintosh version includes startup screens and desktop icons.

Screensavers[edit]

Six screensavers are included with Super Mario Collection Screen Saver. Every screensaver features a certain musical theme from Super Mario Bros. playing in the background. The user has the options to change the speed of a screensaver or disable its music.

  • ALLCAST: Koopa Paratroopas, Goombas, Cheep Cheeps, Bloopers, Lakitus, and Mario are seen going across the screen, erasing the background in the process. The music that plays is the "Super Star" theme.
  • COIN: Mario notices a giant coin with his face floating above him and attempts to collect it. Eventually, Mario hits the coin and it turns into an analogue clock showing the time set on the user's computer. The music that plays is the "Ending" theme.
  • HANABI: Mario, Princess Peach, Toad, Bowser, a Goomba, and a Koopa Troopa are seen in a snowy setting with a fortress and a flagpole watching fireworks at night. At one point, Toad pushes everyone except Mario and Peach out of the scene, and Peach kisses Mario while the flag on the flagpole rises. The music that initially plays is the "Ground Theme", while the music that plays when Peach kisses Mario is the "Course Clear" theme.
  • KUPPA: Bowser and Hammer Bros are seen walking across the screen. Occasionally, a hole forms on the wall behind Bowser and he falls through it. The music that plays is "Shiro BGM".
  • MandL: Mario and Luigi jump inside a computer desktop from the wallpaper, forming a hole in the process, and interact with it by hitting every icon like a block. Afterwards, they start repairing the hole in the wallpaper and exit through it. The music that plays is the "Ground Theme".
  • SEA: Mario swims in an underwater level with Cheep Cheeps and Bloopers and enters a Warp Pipe. The music that plays is the "Underwater Theme".
