Northern Kremisphere
The Northern Kremisphere is the name of the area Dixie and her cousin Kiddy Kong travel through in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble and Donkey Kong Land 3.
The Northern Kremisphere is a large beautiful area having a large amount of water in it. Due to this the Kongs had to travel to the Northern Kremisphere varied areas with the use of a boat or other vehicle which they can obtain Funky's Rentals. There are many forests, waterfalls, mountains and lakes in the Kremisphere, unfortunatly due to the acts of Kremling Krew several areas that were once beautiful such as Mekanos are now polluted and filled with pipelines, warehouses and lumber mills.
In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble Dixie and Kiddy Kong travelled to the Northern Kremisphere in search of the missing Donkey and Diddy Kong and to investigate the recent appearance of Kremlings there. In they're quest they travelled through many places such as the serene Lake Orangatanga to the freezing summit of K3.
In Donkey Kong Land 3 Dixie and Kiddy returned to the Kremisphere to explore several newly discovered areas, such as Cape Codswallop and Primate Plains.
Like Crocodile Isle the Northern Kremisphere has a hidden area (two actually), a sunken and apparently once volcanic island called Krematoa and an apparently sunken, Atlantis-like island simply known as the Lost World. The main plot of Donkey Kong Land 3 is to find the Lost World before Baron K. Roolenstein.
In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 3 a new area was added to the Northern Kremisphere, Pacifica. Instead of being the boss of Razor Ridge Barbos the Sea Lurchin was instead reinstated as the boss of Pacifica (a new boss called Kroctopus was instead placed as the boss of Razor Ridge).
It is unknown where the Northern Kremisphere is in relation to Donkey Kong Island or other locations such as Timber's Island. It is generally accepted by some that the Northern Kremisphere is very near to Donkey Kong Island. It is also possible the Northern Kremisphere is in Kremling territory (near the now sunken Crocodile Isle) due to being named the Northern Kremisphere.
