Template:Infobox Donkey Kong Country Returns is a side-scrolling 2.5D platform game developed by Retro Studios, and confirmed for the Wii at E3 2010. It will be released on November 21, 2010 in North America and on December 3, 2010 in Europe. Although no more release dates have been announced, it is scheduled to be released during the Holiday season of 2010. It includes Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. It is the fourth game from the Super Nintendo game series, Donkey Kong Country. So far Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong are the only Kongs that have been confirmed to be in the game. It has also been confirmed that the Kremlings will not appear, along with underwater stages.[1] Star Barrels will be replaced with pigs as well.

Story

During the story, animals living along Donkey Kong Island, controlled by an evil group of Tikis, raid Donkey Kong's Banana Hoard, taking his stash of bananas. As a reaction upon this incident, Donkey Kong sets out with Diddy Kong to retrieve them.[2]
