In this game, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and the main character from Clu Clue Land, Bubbles, is also playable in DK: King of Swing. The game is the first Donkey Kong game developed by Paon for Nintendo, The sequel of the game is DK Jungle Climber.

  • In this game, Kritter was called Kremling. This is because, besides King K. Rool, Kritters were the only Kremlings in the game.
