How do we know that they are Kopter, Kalypso, and Kludge? Where has that been confirmed?

Mystery Item
On the official site, go to the race courses. On the third screen for the temple-like course, Donkey Kong has an item that I can't identify. Does anybody know what it is?[5] Frum LANKY KONG !

Donkey Kong Jet Race
When I went to the Disambiguation page DKJR, I saw a link that says Donkey Kong Jet Race and I clicked it and it went here. Was there a proposal merging them together, or Donkey Kong Jet Race is just another name for this. Red Shell 68066vr (talk)
