"Peaches" is a song featured in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, performed by Jack Black and included in the film's Original Motion Picture Soundtrack as track 17. It is a love ballad sung by Bowser, professing his love for Princess Peach. It is sung again during the credits, where a now-imprisoned Mini Bowser reflects on the events that led to his defeat while still desiring to win Peach's love.
Black co-wrote the song with directors Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, as well as Eric Osmond and Black's frequent collaborator John Spiker (who also produced).[1]
The song reached the top 100 on the iTunes Store upon the release of The Super Mario Bros. Movie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) on April 7, 2023 for digital platforms.[2] "Peaches" debuted on Billboard magazine's Hot 100 list at number 83.[3]
