The Red Flower is an item that appears in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. It is needed to complete a trade that will earn Dixie and Kiddy Kong a Banana Bird.

Bramble is seeking a Red Flower that he can study, but none are able to grow due to the pollution caused by the nearby factories on Mekanos. If the Kongs manage to defeat KAOS on Mekanos, Bramble will report that the local plantlife can start growing again, but a Red Flower will have yet to bloom. Once the Kongs clear Razor Ridge, a Red Flower that they can pluck will have grown at the end of dead-end path near Bramble's bungalow. By giving the Red Flower to Bramble, the Kongs will receive his Banana Bird in exchange.

In the Game Boy Advance remake of the game, the Red Flower is acquired differently, and serves a slightly different purpose. Bachelor will give the Red Flower to the Kongs when they first visit him, explaining that he needs a Purple Flower for his hot date. By taking this Red Flower to Bramble, the Kongs will receive the Purple Flower that Bachelor seeks. Additionally, the Kongs can get Bramble's Banana Bird simply by speaking to him any time after after they clear Mekanos.
