The Flupperius Petallus Pongus is a red flower that appears in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. It is needed to complete a trade that will earn Dixie and Kiddy Kong a Banana Bird.
Bramble is seeking a Flupperius Petallus Pongus that he can study, but none are able to grow due to the pollution caused by the nearby factories on Mekanos. If the Kongs manage to defeat KAOS on Mekanos, Bramble will report that the local plantlife can start growing again, but a Flupperius Petallus Pongus will have yet to bloom. Once the Kongs clear Razor Ridge, a Flupperius Petallus Pongus that they can pluck will have grown at the end of dead-end path near Bramble's bungalow. By giving the Flupperius Petallus Pongus to Bramble, the Kongs will receive his Banana Bird in exchange.
