Corrin

Template:SSB Infobox Corrin is the main protagonist and avatar unit from the Fire Emblem game Fire Emblem Fates, and is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. Corrin was born as a member of the Hoshido kingdom royal family, but was raised by the royalty in the Nohr kingdom. The game revolves around the avatar as he/she makes decisions leading up to whether he/she joins Hoshido or Nohr as they fight, or join neither side and instead head to the kingdom of Valla to destroy the entity who created the war between Hoshido and Nohr.

Corrin is a newcomer to Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, and like Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, and Robin in the game, the player can choose to play as male or female Corrin. Corrin was released internationally as downloadable content on February 2016. Unlike other DLC newcomers, there is no exclusive new stage to download alongside Corrin; However, two new songs, the original and an arranged version of the main theme of Fire Emblem Fates, "Lost in Thoughts All Alone", are added to the Coliseum and Castle Siege stages instead, and two other trophies of his foster older brother Xander and his real older brother Ryoma from Fire Emblem Fates are added only in the Nintendo 3DS version.

Like in Fire Emblem Fates, Corrin can transform parts of his body into those of a dragon for some of his attacks, which gives them added range. In addition to this, Corrin also carries the Omega Yato, the final form of the Yato blade. Corrin's neutral special move is Dragon Fang Shot, which transforms his arm into a set of fangs that can fire a chargeable water projectile that will paralyze foes for a certain amount of time. His side special is Dragon Lunge, in which Corrin jumps and thrusts his arm, transformed into a spear-like weapon, forward. His up special is Draconic Ascent, in which Corrin flies up with a pair of wings. His down special is Counter Surge, which is a counter move that fully transforms Corrin to counterattack. His Final Smash is Torrential Roar, which turns Corrin into a dragon to catch opponents, followed by him roaring a stream of water that blows them away.

In terms of equipment options, Corrin can use the Sword, Cape, and Shoes equipment. He is the only Fire Emblem character to not use Boots for equipment.

Torrential Roar	N/A		N/A	Corrin blasts two columns of light on either side. If one hits an enemy, Corrin transforms into a fearsome dragon and unleashes a maelstrom that launches anyone unlucky enough to be caught. The light columns shoot straight up for a short moment, so using this move high up after knocking or throwing enemies overhead is very effective!
