Template:Tense When the player enters the stage, they will see Cranky Kong. They should walk over and press the X Button, and he will explain about moving sideways in the air. The player can then jump into the lowest Booster Barrel. The player can move rightwards in the air, falling into another Booster Barrel and then collecting the Oil Barrel. They should then jump into the Booster Barrel that is above where the Oil Barrel was and then move left, falling into another Booster Barrel.

They can then move left into the highest Booster Barrel, where they can collect the first Banana Coin. The player can then carefully aim their fall so that they land in the Booster Barrel between the one they were just launched from and the one next to the K. Once launched from this barrel, they can then aim their fall so that they grab the K and fall into the right-hand side Booster Barrel. They will then be launched upwards, where they can land on a rocky ledge, and then jump into another Booster Barrel and be launched on to the next section.

The player will see Cranky again. He will explain about Spinner Barrels. The player should jump into the first Spinner Barrel and aim it at the O. They should then hop into it again and aim it at the second Spinner Barrel. They should then launch themselves at the wooden barrel directly above them and lunch themselves, collecting the second Banana Coin. They can then launch themselves through the other wooden barrel and land on the rocky ledge, continuing on to the next section. They player should climb up the first set of pegs and into the Spinner Barrel. They should then aim themselves at the Booster Barrel on the left, attacking the Flitter. They will be launched into another Spinner Barrel, which they should aim at the Booster Barrel on their right. They will then be launched, collecting the third Banana Coin and landing in another Spinner Barrel. They should then aim themselves at the Booster Barrel above them, attacking the two Flitters. They can then aim themselves at the DK Coin. They should then allow themselves to fall between the Booster and Spinner barrels, and, if aimed correctly, landing in a Booster Barrel below and being launched into a Spinner Barrel. They should them aim the Spinner Barrel in a downwards/right direction, landing in a Spinner Barrel above a small gap. The player should then aim this Spinner Barrel at the breakable wall on their right, collecting the fourth Banana Coin. They should then aim that same Spinner Barrel at the Booster Barrel in the upwards/right direction, landing in another Spinner Barrel which they should aim at the N, then continue onto the second last section.

The player should climb up the first set of pegs, and then attack the breakable wall on their right. They can then use a Spinner Barrel to collect a ton of jewels. They should then aim themselves towards the upper-right corner and land on a wooden platform. They can then walk over to the left, collect the G and then jump back onto the wooden platform and continue climbing up the pegs. They can then grab the final Banana Coin and then jump into the Bonus Barrel and play Banana Bonanza. The player can then continue on to the final section, which is a boss battle.

In the boss battle, the player has to attack a Banana Ship while avoiding slow moving, vertically falling missiles. Once the battle is won, the player can move on to World 2-1: Tropical Treetops.
