Hey! Welcome to my userpage! I mainly play WarioWare, but I'm also a fan of the Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario series.
Completed projects
- Reupload all English WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase microgame images to get them in (1) better quality, (2) not blurry, and (3) not letterboxed.
- Add "intro" commands for D.I.Y. Showcase microgames.
- D.I.Y. Showcase comic and record lists.
- Rewrite the D.I.Y. comic page.
- Add Gold infobox info to microgame pages.
- Fill out the List of Funky Kong quotes page with info about DKC, DKC2, DKC3 GBA, and DKJC.
Current projects
- Fill out the List of WarioWare Gold quotes and List of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga quotes pages.
- Status: I work on Superstar Saga more than Gold, but I'd say I'm doing good on both of them.
- Make pages for Funky's Flights missions.
- Status: Just started.
- Move files to lowercase extensions.
- Status: While this is tedious, I do it sometimes.
- Make "smart quote" redirects.
- Status: Making good progress.
- Get images (usually emulator screenshots) for the Game Over page.
- Status: I like to do this in groups by console. Currently working on DS games.
- Add "intro" commands to WarioWare microgames. Particularly D.I.Y., but I may do Touched! after that.
- Status: Inactive at the moment.
- Find a way to compress .oga files.
- Status: Nothing so far.
Game Opinions
This section is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it's being worked on. I hope to have it completed sometime soon. This section is currently under construction by Scrooge200.
While I have played more games than this, I'm only ranking the ones I've sat down with and actually gave a serious chance. Expect more games to be added soon.
NES
Game | Notes | Rating |
---|---|---|
File:Donkey Kong NES Cover.PNG | The game is enjoyable to play in short bursts. There's not much else to say about it. | Good |
File:Donkey Kong Jr. NES Cover.PNG | While I do enjoy this game, it's a lot more difficult than its predecessor. I don't like it as much, but it's still fun. | Good |
Have you ever wanted to play a video game solely about doing math? Neither have I, but clearly Nintendo thought somebody did. When I play Donkey Kong Jr., I want to be pushing keys and knocking down fruit, not doing math. Still, this game isn't that bad. It's good for a quick laugh. | Decent | |
File:SMB Boxart.PNG | When you put it into perspective, it's a good game for its time, but now its just decent. Not bad at all, but just kind of underwhelming. | Decent |
File:SMB2 Boxart.PNG | Maybe it's just me, but I consider this to be the best of the original NES trilogy. It's just so unique and it's a lot of fun to play. | Good |
File:SMB3 Boxart.PNG | I do not like this game. The level design is horrid and unfair. It makes me feel like I'm playing the Super Expert 100 Mario Challenge! There is no way to save, go back to previous worlds, or replay levels. However, I can give this game credit for introducing some fan-favorite characters, like Dry Bones, Thwomps, Boos, Chain Chomps, and the Koopalings. | Bad |
I don't really get this game. | Bad | |
This game is just kind of mediocre. | Decent |
SNES
Game Boy

I didn't even know what Picross was until I played Mario's Picross. I got it so I could get a picture of the game over screen for the gallery of the Game Over page, but then I played more of it. And you know what? It's actually fun. | Good | |
Compared to the original, this one is kind of "eh." The music is worse, the graphics are worse, it's pretty much a downgrade. Why would you ever buy this if you have a SNES? | Decent |
DOS

Like Mario Paint, I thought this game would be stupid at first, but I actually ended up enjoying it. | Good |
Nintendo 64

A genuinely great game. Lots of fun to be had here. | Great | |
File:Papermario.PNG | I prefer PM64 over TTYD. 64 has memorable locations, lots of partners, great bosses, an outstanding soundtrack, and is just an overall great game. I wasn't sure if I would like it at first, but I did. | Great |
Game Boy Color
Game Boy Advance

Eh, I don't think I like this one as much as II and 3. Still not a bad game, though. | Decent | |
I only got this game because the Wii U eShop didn't have the original SNES version. And boy, did I not like this. I never completed the first world. Everything in this game is just worse; like DKL2, why would you even buy this if you have a SNES? | Bad | |
It's the first WarioWare game, but it's one of the weaker ones. It suffers from quite a bit of trial-and-error gameplay; sometimes, like in Mix & Match and Slick Wheelie, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do the first time I play it. However, there are only a few bad microgames in the over 200. The bonuses are pretty fun. Orbulon's stage is probably my favorite in this game. | Good | |
I really like this game. It's a great start to the Mario & Luigi series. It's the most creative, there are lots of unique enemies, the bosses are fantastic, and the entire game is really fun. There are some flaws, like a few annoying characters (I'm looking at you, Starshade Bros.), annoying tutorials, and the entire Oho Ocean Seabed segment, but it's still a great game. If you want to play a Mario & Luigi game, you can't go wrong with this one. | Great | |
This game is pretty great. I like Kiddy Kong and don't find him annoying, the animals are fun to play as, there are lots of secrets, and the new overworld map is fun to explore. I think I like this one more than 1 and 2. Keep in mind that I've only played the GBA version, and not the SNES one. | Great | |
What even is this game? The wonky controls were kind of fun at first, but then I realized, "Wait, I have to play the entire game like this!" I quit after the first world, and I don't plan to come back to it anytime soon. On the plus side, I do like the sprites and art style, though. | Decent |
GameCube

The genuine best Smash game. I started with Brawl and find it hard to return. Yes, I play without items, and I only do tournament-legal maps. | Great | |
File:Box NA - Super Mario Sunshine.png | Something about this game is just... bleh. I know it's divisive, and I'm leaning towards the "bad game" side. I don't find it very fun, the controls are weird, and Mario's moveset is too small. I haven't bothered to play much of this. | Bad |
I'm not a big fan of this game, honestly. The character designs are the ugliest out of all Paper Mario games, the amount of RNG in battles gets frustrating, and over half of the chapters are painful slogs. (I only liked Chapter 3, honestly. But even that was interrupted by stupid, out-of-nowhere puzzles when all I wanted to do was battle!) | Decent |

This is my absolute favorite Paper Mario game. The gameplay is incredibly fun, there are lots of hidden secrets, there's a post-game, the bosses are great, and I love the soundtrack. I know this is a controversial opinion, but I find it great to stomp an enemy and not enter a long battle. | Great | |
File:SmG.jpg | This may come as a shock, but... I despise this game. It makes me feel really stupid merely by playing it. I get no enjoyment out of this game at all. It's super boring. Heck, even the soundtrack puts me to sleep! This is one of the only Mario games I haven't bothered to %100 complete. You know what? I'm going to dedicate an entirely new rating just for this game. | Terrible |
I used to like this game before I realized how much better Melee was. This game is too slow-paced and floaty for my tastes. Even when I was a super big fan of Brawl, I still despised the Subspace Emissary. I found it incredibly boring and not fun at all. | Bad | |
File:Mariobox-noscale.jpg | This was the first Wii game — and also the first Mario game — I've ever played. Did I have fun with it? Yeah, I guess. I haven't played this game in years, but I do want to play it again. I remember it being a good game, though. | Good |
Technically, this is WiiWare, but I think it's close enough to fit in my Wii section. So how is this successor to D.I.Y.? Well, for one, it removes the main thing about D.I.Y.; the actual D.I.Y. portion. But the word "showcase" in the title already implies that. This game is made up of two good stages and two mediocre stages. I personally think the pre-made comics in this one are better than the ones in D.I.Y., too. Eh, the game is fine enough, but if you want to try WarioWare, don't start with this game. | Decent | |
I don't dislike this game as much as Galaxy 1. Don't get me wrong, it's still a bad game, but at least there are (although brief) bits of enjoyment in it. For some reason, I have more fun when I return to it and take screenshots for the wiki. | Bad | |
This was the first Mario Party game I've ever played. I just assumed that every game took place in a singular vehicle. But you know what? I actually like it. I'm actually compelled to care about other players' turns to think about how it will impact me later. It feels like everybody's working together as a team, but they're also trying to sabotage each other at the same time, which makes for some interesting gameplay. | Good |
Nintendo 3DS

A little bland, but still good. Is this better than 3D World? I'm not entirely sure. If you want Mario on the 3DS, this game isn't a bad choice. | Good | |
I don't get the hate for this game. People always say, "oh, the tutorials stink!" Bowser's Inside Story had way more tutorials than this one. The dream world is a much more interesting and actually fun version of Bowser's body. Overall, this game is pretty great. | Great | |
I don't get the hate for this game, either. The lack of original characters didn't bother me very much, and all the paper additions were fun. The Papercraft Battles were about as much fun as eating a cactus, but at least they're over fast. I consider this weaker than Dream Team, but I still really like it. | Great | |
A definite contender for my top 10 games of all time. The voice acting is a lot of fun to listen to, the minigames and records were great rewards, the microgames are still awesome, the challenge modes are creative, and it's overall an incredibly fun experience. All the controls, even the microphone and the gyroscope, work perfectly and never feel unresponsive. | Great |
Wii U

Uh, it's fine, I guess. It's a mix of good and bad minigames. The good outweighs the bad, but it's still not something you should spend 60 dollars on. | Decent | |
This game is good until World Mushroom. It kind of feels like they ran out of ideas at that point. None of the |

No real opinion on this game. At first, I thought it was actual NES games and levels, but turns out it's just tiny segments. I was disappointed at first, but then I learned to appreciate it for what it was. | Decent | |
Lunar Magic is better. | Good |
