This track makes a return as a heavily revamped course in Mario Kart 8, as part of the DLC pack that will be launched on April 23rd, 2015 and is the second track of the Crossing Cup. The track now takes place during the day, is more sloped and is designed as a mountainous canyon with small amounts of vegetation, rather than an extraterrestrial setting in Super Circuit. While the Little Mousers have been removed, two Chain Chomps have been added around the second-half of the track. The course also has a decent-sized anti-gravity section in it, about a third of the way into the track. There are now craters that act as trick boosts and a few have items and/or coins in them. A shortcut has also been added that allows players to glide over the earlier mentioned Chain Chomp. Cheese Land is the third race course of the Flower Cup in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. It is made of cheese and contains twists and turns along with the usual coins and item boxes. Scattered around the course are Little Mousers which make the driver's kart spin out on contact. A large object resembling a planet can be seen on the background of the racing course. It could be a moon, in reference to the myth that says that the moon is made of cheese. In the track's background, it seems that there are many towers and buildings made of cheese.

Cheese Land in Mario Kart 8.

Cheese Land makes a return as a heavily-revamped course in Mario Kart 8, as part of DLC Pack 2 and is the second track of the Crossing Cup. Similar to GCN Yoshi Circuit and GBA Ribbon Road, the starting banner uses the modern Mario Kart logo while the game the course was originally from had the classic Mario Kart logo.
