Template:Newsubject Template:SSB Infobox King Dedede is the self-proclaimed king of Dream Land, a rival and frequent antagonist of Kirby. He will be a new playable character in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl, acting as a large and heavy character, like Bowser and Donkey Kong. Although none of his attacks have been revealed, he has been confirmed to be using his Hammer, even holding the Hammer around with him for the entire match. He has also been seen riding around on a throne being moved by four Waddle Dees, however, whether this is an attack or his entrance is unknown.

Trophy Description in Super Smash Bros. Melee

Dedede's the self-proclaimed king of Dream Land. While he says he's king, Dedede performs no administrative functions and the citizens of Dream Land continue to live as they always have. He's able to suck in air and fly like Kirby does, but only as a result of the vigorous training he undertook after being bested by Kirby.

Trivia
