The Warrior and the Windbag is a Side Quest in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on the planet Terra Flora. After the heroes clear out both Darkmess Tentacles, the water from Mt. Spout will make the flowers bloom, and fill a gap, allowing the heroes to cross, where a Darkmess Puddle lies. Edge and Rabbid Mario must be used for the battle. After the battle, the Quest is complete. The player is then awarded a Planet Coin, the Steampunk Blade, and the Memory for Edge.

The battle is always random, but Edge and Rabbid Mario must destroy all 20 Darkmess Eyes across a somewhat large battlefield. The enemies that can appear are also random. There can be Armored Goombas, Sea Stooges, and Lone Wolves. During the battle, Darkmess Puddles can appear during the battle, containing said enemies.
