Catch Your Breath is a Spark quest battle in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on the planet Pristine Peaks. It is part of the Side Quest Dr. Vent's Frozen Oddity, where Dr. Vent tells the heroes to stop an intruder in his lab, With the Spark Zephystar guiding them. The intruder turns out to be Darkmess, and the heroes must stop it in this battle. The objective is to destroy the Darkmess Gate, using Bob-ombs. Only one is needed, but the heroes must activate switches throughout the battlefield, causing Stone Masks to activate, blowing wind to transport Bob-ombs to the Darkmess Gate. After the battle, the Spark Zephystar joins the battle.

Layout[edit]

The battlefield is large, and has 4 levels of elevation. There are 7 Stone Masks and 6 switches throughout the battlefield.

Top elevation[edit]

The top level of elevation simply consists of 2 Bob-ombs already present, along with a Stone Mask that is already active. One Bob-omb gets pushed by the wind, landing on the next level of elevation, while the other avoids it. The heroes start at the same elevation, although on a different platform, with a pip that connects to the next elevation.

Mid-high elevation[edit]

The mid-high level of elevation consists of a Stone Mask that must be activated, 2 Sea Stooges behind cover, along with the pushed Bob-omb. 2 switches are present here, which activate two of the Stone Masks. A pipe connects to the next level of elevation.

Mid-low elevation[edit]

The mid-low level of elevation consists of 2 Sea Stooges and 2 Deep Freezes, along with 2 more Stone Masks and 2 more switches. Another pipe connects to the bottom level.

Bottom elevation[edit]

The bottom level of elevation contains 3 Sea Stooges along with a Deep Freeze. The final 3 Stone Masks are located here, along with the last 2 switches. The Darkmess Gate is located at the top right side of this elevation.

Battle[edit]

All of the Stone Masks create a path to the Darkmess Gate, and each switch activates a specific Stone Mask. Every turn, indestructible Darkmess portals appear close to the first Stone Mask, containing a single Bob-omb.
