Goomba Mario[1] is one of the forms Mario takes under the Wonder Flower's Wonder Effects in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. While in this form, the character is transformed into a Goomba and they are able to walk on spiked floors without taking damage; however, their movement speed and jump height are significantly decreased and they become unable to perform any other ability. The form appears in two levels: Maw-Maw Mouthful and Petal Isles Special Way of the Goomba.[2]

Goomba Mario and Luigi retain their hats, Peach and Daisy retain their crowns, have eyelashes and enlarged pupils, Yellow Toad, Blue Toad and Toadette retain their mushroom caps, Yoshi, Red Yoshi, Light-Blue Yoshi and Yellow Yoshi have cracked egg shells on their heads, and Nabbit is purple and retains his ears and mask. Unlike captured Goombas from Super Mario Odyssey, elements like eye color and mustaches do not carry over.
