Template:Character-infobox Davy Bones is a large, skeletal eel boss in the game DK: King of Swing.

Davy Bones is encountered by Donkey Kong in the Aqua World. He tries to attack Donkey Kong by lunging at him from one of the holes he inhabits. Whenever Davy does this, Donkey must grab hold of a small red spot on Davy's tail and swing him into a nearby row of spikes. After bashing Davy into these spikes several times, the zombified sea creature explodes and Donkey obtains the golden medal that Davy was guarding.

Trivia

  • The name "Davy Bones", as well as the name of the level he is located, are derived from the old sea legend of Davy Jones' Locker.
  • Davy Bones bears limited resemblance to the Yoshi's Story enemy Bone Dragon. The two characters also pose similarly in their official artwork.
  • In DK: King of Swing's sequel, DK: Jungle Climber, there is a dragon boss that is very similar to Davy Bones both in appearance and the way Donkey Kong fights it.
