Template:Infobox DK: King of Swing is a puzzle game starring Donkey Kong for the Game Boy Advance. Its gameplay is similar to the NES game Clu Clu Land. Bubbles, the main character of Clu Clu Land, is also playable in DK: King of Swing. The game is the first Donkey Kong game developed by Paon for Nintendo. The sequel of the game is DK Jungle Climber.

Story

The game takes place during the Jungle Jam Tournament, a huge festival held on Donkey Kong Island. During the tournament, medals are handed out as prizes to participants, and the winner is crowned the hero of the jungle. This time however, King K. Rool steals all the medals before the tournament commences, and proclaims himself the jungle hero. Naturally Donkey Kong pursues the Kremling leader to get the medals back and restore peace to Donkey Kong Island.

Gameplay

Donkey Kong can be controlled entirely with the L and R buttons.

Trivia

  • In this game, Kritter was called Kremling. This is because, besides King K. Rool, Kritters were the only Kremlings in the game.
  • The medals for the Jungle Jam Tournament are obviously DK Coins, but they are never referred to as such and are only called medals.
