Mini-Neckys also appear inside green balloons as items in ''[[Donkey Kong Barrel Blast]]''.

Mini-Neckys are small, black, hostile birds encountered throughout the Donkey Kong series. As the name suggests, they are miniature versions of Neckys. The first appearance of Mini-Neckys was in Donkey Kong Country. Here they would attack Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong by flinging coconuts/eggs at them.

Mini-Neckys next appeared in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, here they were semi-common enemies encountered in various of the game's levels. In this game Mini-Neckys would attack Diddy and Dixie Kong be swooping down at them, a Mini-Necky could be defeated by simply jumping on it's head.
