Deep Sea Sprint is the first area of the Pear Kingdom. The entire level takes place underwater. Deep Sea Sprint is a relatively short level. Donkey Kong had to race three turtles to the finish line. As soon as Donkey Kong crossed the start line, the race begun. The level had few obstacles. [[Jellyfish]] slowed Donkey Kong down by stunning him if he came into contact with them. Water currents sped Donkey Kong up if he swam into them. Beating the turtles is not necessary to complete the level, however losing to all three would cause Donkey Kong to receive no bonus beats. If Donkey Kong was third, he would be awarded 100 bonus beats. Second place would award 300 bonus beats. If Donkey Kong won the race, he would awarded 500 bonus beats. Donkey Kong ate the giant Pear at the end of the level and continued to the second area.

Clock Tower is the second area of the Pear Kingdom. As the name implies, the level takes place in a clock tower with gears serving as obstacles. At the start of the level, a new type of [[Helper Monkey]] was introduced. Unlike other Helper Monkeys, this type of Helper Monkey was suspended on a line instead of a bush and moved alongside Donkey Kong. The monkey tossed Donkey Kong to another Helper Monkey, ascending higher up the level. Donkey Kong rode a [[Helibird]] ascending even further up the level. Donkey Kong encountered the [[Animal Buddy]] [[Flurl the Squirrel]]. With Flurl, Donkey Kong glided to the next portion of the level. Donkey Kong used two more Helibirds and flew to the top of the level. Donkey Kong reached the top and ate the giant Pear, completing the level. Afterwards, Donkey Kong battled Gloat-Hog.
