The Case of the Missing Mural is a stage in Princess Peach: Showtime!, located on the far right in the second floor of the Sparkle Theater. This stage is unlocked after clearing all of 1F. It is the first stage where the Detective transformation is introduced.

Layout[edit]

The stage begins with Princess Peach and Stella arriving in a city, noticing after a short walk that the local museum is closed to the public. In front, a rookie detective Theet attempts to get in in order to solve whatever was inside, only to be shooed away by the guards. Disappointed, he walks away and noticed Peach, whom she invites to the detective agency of his mentor.

Sparkle Gems[edit]

  1. Ontained after saving a Theet from two Sour Bunch minions.
  2. Found behind a billboard outside the museum.
  3. Obtained after solving the mystery in the detective's office.
  4. Obtained after finding the Junior Detective in the detective's office.
  5. This Sparkle Gem is found in a sub-area outside the museum, but is only accessible to Detective Peach. She must strike a pose on a manhole cover to the right of the museum. She must then perform a Strike of Intuition on a glowing crate, which will cause the Sparkle Gem to appear and subsequently be obtained.
  6. Obtained after using a Strike of Intuition to reveal the vent behind the crooked slate.
  7. Found inside a locked blue sarcophagus. To open it, Peach must find a blue key.
  8. Obtained after using a Strike of Intuition to expose a Criminal disguised as a police officer.
  9. Obtained after using a strike of Intuition to expose a Criminal disguised as a statue.
  10. Obtained after using a Strike of Intuition to reveal the mural, thus solving the case.

Dress Ribbon[edit]

Detective Dress: The Ribboner is found behind a house in the first section of the stage. He is sad that he lost his ticket. Peach must use Sparkle Power on the three shrubs in the area to make them prosper. The third shrub has the Ribboner's ticket, and he will reward peach the Dress Ribbon and become happy afterwards.

Hidden Theets[edit]

All three Theets are found before the Detective transformation.

  1. Found in front of a wall at the start of the stage.
  2. Found in front of the museum.
  3. Found close to the detective's office.
