Melody of the Sea is a stage in Princess Peach: Showtime!, located on the far right in the third floor of the Sparkle Theater. This stage is unlocked after clearing all of 2F. It is the first stage where the Mermaid transformation is introduced.
Layout[edit]
The stage begins with Princess Peach and Stella arriving at a beach, where a mermaid concert would be held nearby. After a short walk, they encounter a turtle, who had been rendered unconscious by a Sour Bunch merman. As a pair of mermaid Theets tries to bring the turtle back to its feet, Peach uses the power of Sparkle on them to help them, with the healed turtle thanking Peach by offering her a ride on its shell. The transformation of Mermaid Peach can be found in the singer's cove, with the room being filled with water. When Peach and the Theets try to perform, the lights go out, and when they turn back on, the Sour Bunch seems to have trapped the Theets in bubbles, which leads to Peach saving them using the transformation's power. At the end of the stage, the player performs a song by tilting 
to the direction of the fish. Missing a full pattern will cause Peach to take damage. After the song is completed, the remaining Sour Bunch members will be defeated.
Sparkle Gems[edit]
- Obtained after scaring off two Sour Bunch mermaids using coconuts.
- Obtained after using Sparkle Power on all shells during the sea turtle section.
- Found inside a clam on the far right of the area where the Mermaid transformation is.
- Found in the background of the area after the concert. Mermaid Peach must guide the fish to obtain the Sparkle Gem.
- Found inside a clam shell underneath the giant clam where the first band member is.
- Found behind seaweed.
- Found between the second set of eels. Mermaid Peach must sing for the Sparkle Gem to be brought to the foreground.
- Found in a sub-area below the Giant sea turtle. Mermaid Peach must strike a pose at a specific area to access the sub-area. To obtain the Sparkle Gem, Mermaid Peach must guide fish to open a clam containing the Gem.
- Obtained after moving the Giant sea turtle by using pufferfish.
- Obtained after the concert, if all fish have been sung to.
Dress Ribbon[edit]
Mermaid Dress: The Ribboner is found to the right of the seaweed area, where he is trapped behind seaweed. After he is freed, he awards Peach the Dress Ribbon.
Hidden Theets[edit]
All three Theets are found before the Mermaid transformation.
- Found in front of a wall at the start of the stage.
- Found in front of a fence above Mermaid Theets.
- Found on the wall of the area right after the sea turtle section.
