Template:Kart-infobox The Red Standard 8 is a kart that appears in the Mario Kart series. It was originally a color scheme for the Mario Kart 8 iteration of the Standard Kart when used by characters like Mario, Baby Mario or a red Mii in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe; however, the kart returns as a separate vehicle in Mario Kart Tour, where is classified as a Super kart. It uses the Standard tires from Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The Red Standard 8 increases the duration of Mini-Turbo boosts and the amount of points awarded for performing Mini-Turbos.
